Ask for a Green Party ballot

The Illinois Primary will be held Feb. 2. When you go to the polls, you can show your support for progressive candidates by asking for a Green Party ballot. For a list of candidates and other details, visit our Primary page for details.

The Green Party is guided by 10 Key Values:

  1. Grassroots democracy

  2. Social Justice and Equal Opportunity

  3. Ecological Wisdom

  4. Non-Violence

  5. Decentralization

  6. Community-Based Economics and Economic Justice

  7. Feminism and Gender Equity

  8. Respect for Diversity

  9. Personal and Global Responsibility

  10. Future Focus and Sustainability

Of the three "established" political parties in the county, the DuPage County Green Party is the only one that refuses to accept corporate campaign contributions. We believe that by holding ourselves to higher standards, we can remain true to our mission of public service. In support of that mission, we look forward to running several candidates in 2010.
