Why vote in the Green Party?
As you may have noticed, there are no contested races on the Green Party Primary ballot in DuPage. While the outcome may be certain, you can show your commitment to having a viable third party in Illinois by casting a Green Party ballot on Feb. 2.
Where can I vote?
If you are registered and ready to vote, you can find your polling place by visiting the DuPage Election Commission web site.
If you are not registered or need to transfer registration, you may do so and cast your vote at the same time at the DuPage Election Commission office, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL. Grace period voting ends Jan. 26.
If you absolutely cannot vote in person on the Feb. 2 Primary Day, you can vote by Absentee Ballot -- or you can vote early at these locations through Jan. 28. The DuPage Green Party recommends absentee ballots, because they are cast on paper. In-person early voting uses electronic voting machines, which can potentially be manipulated, can often malfunction and can't easily or reliably be recounted.
How can I help?
The DuPage County Green Party is seeking volunteers to help distribute primary information in the days leading up to the election, and to serve as pollwatchers and observers of the central tabulation of the vote on Primary Day - black and white primary flyer and color primary flyer.
